Here�s a call to worship inspired by the events in Luke 4:14-30.  It comes from Waiting for Water: Liturgy for the Easter Journey.

 

Responsive Call to Worship

(inspired by Luke 4:14-30)

 

The Spirit of the Lord is upon us!

God has anointed us to bring good news to the poor,

To proclaim freedom for the prisoners

and recovery of sight for the blind,

to set the oppressed free.

Let us worship the God of justice and peace!
